Vegetable Gardening

What kind of soil is good for vegetable gardening?

From what I have read, 1:1 ratio of top soil and manure compost mixed with the ground soil is good soil mixture for starters. I have use 3 cubic feet of Kellogg organic all natural garden soil, 2 cubic feet of Earthgrow steer manure blend and lastly 1 cubic feet of Gardeners chicken manure compost.
I also planted the store bought lemongrass in the ground since it already developed roots. Thank you for watching. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘ Cheers

  1. I started growing dragon fruit plant from cutting in shallow pot from 1year and 6 months ago, it have reached 7.8feet on terrace .it was not fruiting so .
My doubt is that can I transplant it to bigger pot or barrel in this summer season T(38ยฐc), will it inducing flowers by doing transplantation.
Or is any other season is good to transplant of that cactus.

  2. Good luck with the start of your veggie garden. I have set up a trellis in my patio greenhouse and will try to grow tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. I hope to make and update and show it soon. I'm growing under lights but still setting everything up. Too bad your eggplant did not work, but tomatoes are very easy to make cuttings.

  3. do you use that soil to grow dragon fruit too? do you have a vid of soil you use to grow dragon fruit in ground?
