BACKYARD EDIBLE URBAN GARDEN TOUR

Backyard Edible Urban Garden Tour. Come join me for a garden tour. I will show you what we are growing in our small urban edible backyard garden here in Los Angeles, California. Our garden is small, but it is fully packed with may varieties of edibles. From berries – blueberries, strawberries, boysenberries and raspberries. To citrus – eureka lemon, meyer lemon, yuzu lemon, calamondin or calamansi, bears lime, valencia orange, washington navel, satsuma mandarin, kumquat and minneola tangelo. We are growing stone fruits, too – red baron peach and donut peach, apricot, plum and nectarine along with apple, fig, anjou pear, asian pear and fuyu persimmon. We have two grapevines too – perlette and blueberry grapes. And many cold-loving crops like different varieties of lettuce, Asian greens like bok choy, tatsoi, pak choi and Chinese cabbage. We have broccoli too, cauliflower, mustard greens, sorrel (French and red-veined), spinach, chard, peas radish, carrots and many others. In the herb garden we have rosemary, thyme, sage, lemon grass, mint, marjoram, oregano, tarragon, parsley, lemon verbena, laurel leaves, chives, chamomile and splenda.

Happy gardening & happy cooking!
