  1. Very nice. I've used onion sets and seeds but not the fresh onions. In all the years I've tried to grow bulb onions I think I only managed to harvest a handful. They bolt early for me and fail to form a bulb. And usually my sweet corn tassels out about knee high year after year. I get great crops of elephant garlic, chayote, tomatoes, and others but onions and corn are my challenge.

  5. i'm growing an onions for fun in just water it's sitting in a plastic tray near a window where it lives off the water i've also used no dirt only water and the roots have grown good but the leaves are yellowing can somebody give me some tips on this?

  8. i find wild scallions all over the place but i never considered eating them. mostly because of the threat of pesticide. i dont know what goes on, landscape wise, when coming across one
