  1. Good morning ☺️yes last year I used the landscape fabric in my garden and it worked wonderful my only suggestion is get a good quality fabric I’m gonna buy some from growers solution this year and tack it down we live in Kansas so we’ve got a lot of wind and I wanna try setting up a better way of watering solution, what I need to work on this year but I hope it works out for you guys ,God bless☺️

  2. So glad you got the Sunbelt brand. I used Amazon cheapie fabric two years ago and it was a disaster. Weeds grew right through it. Used Sunbelt last year and it worked perfectly! You are going to love it!

  3. Just wanted to say Matt, the orientation and light / shade of the greenhouse is much more important than the quality of the land it is sitting on.
It is fairly easy to improve the soil quality. Not so easy to move trees, or change the sun's path.
Lots of old timers I know, who know far more about greenhouses than I, also stress the importance of "pointing" the greenhouse East – West. Don't ask me why, I don't know why. It is just what they tell me.

  4. Everything is looking fabulous! Your building is taking shape and looks really great, too. I'm looking forward to watching your market garden come to fruition Thanks, Matt!.

  5. Hey Matt! It’s been awhile seeing you at ye old homestead! 😉 Yay garden prep!

  6. Im in Katy, and we may have different conditions, but Im going to give you our reason why we did not like landscape fabric here in s. Texas top of zone 9a.
Ok, here in Texas we have fire ants.
We planted potatoes and other things under the landscape fabric.
The problem was that they really got to the potatoes, it made them painful to harvest because we were getting bitten. Everything was still edible, but not farmers market pretty. We dont like the fabric because we cant see where the ant colonies are, to treat them.
Some of our problem could have been what we planted. I wish you guys luck, just wanted to give you our experience to consider.

  7. I am in Royse City and I had to start using the fabric because of bermuda and johnson grass just to have a garden area. now i grow in large pots because there is just one of me and i don't have a tiller. but this year I am laying down an area to grow green beans

  8. Landscape fabric is a game changer! Used with drip irrigation cuts down so much work. We used a hand held torch to burn planting holes in ours. Worked awesome!

  9. Do not take out the cedar tree. There was a guy on YouTube who said that he actually got free land because he found companies who needed trees and those trees actually paid for his land. Theoria Apophasis is the channel. Please do some research before you cut any more trees on your land. I want your family to prosper!

  10. Just placed my first order with y'all! Can't wait to try your "local" honey! I love HOSS tools! I too just got in my crimson clover and rye planted in my chicken run. The only time it's too late is to never get it done. God bless.
