Suburban Garden Ideas // A Garden Design for a Shallow but Wide Plot

This one will give you lots of garden inspiration for those of you working or living in the suburbs! We loved working with Neil Jones Design and E Williams Landscapes on this beauty of a garden build in #Winchester.

Neil talks us through the design techniques he used to make the most of a shallow but wide plot in a suburban housing area just outside the city. And also how he has created a space that has defined zones to maximise the families use of the #garden. This is why garden designers are worth their fee all day long – they will come up with concepts that you didn’t even know you wanted!

Look out for our Christchurch Pearl Paving procured especially for this project laid with bands of chamomile for an audio sensory experience. If we had smellovision you’d love it.

The project also features a lovely pergola from Suns Lifestyle.

Thanks to Neil and the chaps E Williams Landscapes for being a pleasure to work with 🙌

ABOUT FOREST STONE
We’re a family business obsessed with paving and what it can do to transform outside spaces. Seeing the beginnings of a project, and then checking in on it when the build has reached its potential is what we love. It’s why we do what we do. After years of working in the industry for landscaping supplies merchants we realised we’d love the freedom to stock a versatile range of products and make the buying experience as good as it possibly can be. This is what we hold in our minds every day we’re at the yard. Paving your way.

  1. Lots of good ideas there, loving the idea of the camomile between the patio and it realising scent if you happen to walk on it. Keep up the great work.
