  1. Good to know those buckets are food safe because I have a few of the ones with handles I have used for pots for trees and overwintering my peppers 😂

  2. Love these finds. I grew mustard greens in 2 of the same orange container. Had my first harvest and their still growing strong. Enjoy!

  3. That is a really great idea ! We got to drive a good ways to get to a Dollar Tree but we need to stop in one next time we go to the city . Thanks for sharing !

  5. That's a good tip to check out the dollar store! Our local dollar store has a variety of prices (not everything is $1, but most area). One of the things I'm trying to do this year is to not buy any containers that have new plastic. Also check out your local used marketplaces and buy nothing groups for containers. I got a set of 8 totes for $20 on Facebook marketplace for growing some potatoes this year. Best of all for me, they didn't end up in the landfill and don't have the carbon footprint of buying new plastic.

  6. Dollar store often has pretty decent stuff up here too. We have bought tons of containers there and they are the cheapest place to get the black square pots to move our seedlings into before they go to the garden. We dis notice this week though, that it was already picked over. Crazy times.
