  1. Hello Yulia, I start your classes yesterday, you explain very good. thank you. but so difficult to me because have many pine trees in the back of my house.

  2. Yulia .. another wonderful video .. you are a GREAT teacher and thank you for making garden design understandable!! I've been gardening for a long time and this is what my yard has been missing .. thank you so much!!! Can't wait to watch how you select plants ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Yulia! Bless your heart lady! I have learned so so much from you. Never be nervous you do an AMAZINGLY FANTASTIC job. Thank you for breaking this down for me and showing me how to take what's in my brain and put it on paper! Keep doing a great job!

  4. Nice. But I did all this without masters degree in landscape design. If I would change anything is a few things that ended up in a wrong place as the garden matured. I feel good gardens are personal and best designed by their caretaker.

  5. Thank you, thank you! I now have a better understanding of how to layout my garden spaces. Yes, I have several as well as a vegetable garden! Hugs and love from Texas!

  6. Fantastic video series! Perfect for our expanding business and presented very well. Thanks for doing this.

  7. Wow, thank you for putting these videos together. You make what could be completely overwhelming and complicated, easy to understand and much more approachable. Well put together and thought out, very inspirational. ๐Ÿ‘

  8. I am totally overwhelmed with planning my garden and tis is so so helpful! Thank you! ๐ŸŒธ Do you maybe have ideas how to deal with a garden that has different levels of hights? How to "sculpture" big amounts of soil and how to make sure the structure holds itself?

  9. This is my 4th summer in my new home. My son is a landscape designer/contractor. I had a rough idea of what I wanted my property to look like. The first year I just transplanted some plants from my previous home where I felt they would do best. That year I studied my land with many of the site analysis items you mentioned. My son helped me put on paper my ideas. The next summer we began landscaping the backyard. Total DIY project with family help. Phew! I tried to do too much in one season! Lesson learned. Last year we worked on the front yard. I knew the shapes I wanted and where, but didn't have a clear view of specific plantings. We finished the summer with irrigation. So glad my son helped with that, bc it would've been way more expensive than we'd planned.

I love these videos. They are helping me figure out how to refine what I want in the front yard. You are very good at explaining how to do these steps. I appreciate the time you've taken to help so many laymen figure out how to have beautiful properties like yours. You are an inspiration! Thank you so much! Looking forward to more inspiration!

  10. thank you for your effort, it is important to know the process to start the design of a garden in detail

  11. Love love LOVE this series and have found it SO helpful! Thank you! One question: where is the rest of it? After part 4, I'm lost about how to pick plants and group them nicely, vet contractors, etc. I don't even know what else I don't know ๐Ÿ™ Will you be continuing this series, pretty please??
