Love the Daryl videos!!!❤
Loved Darrels story telling!!!!! hilarious. Thank you very much Kaye for this very interesting video and thank you Darrel also!!!!! God bless
What an awesome bee story Darrell! I have one of my own as do many who cross the hives of bees. I was on my grandmother's farm moving hay in the loft when a swarm of bees emerged and stung me over 100 times. Luckily I was not allergic or I might not be here to tell the story. Very important to follow the bees demands for sure. Thanks so much for sharing your story.
Wow! What a tale
An excellent writer always makes you believe you’re right there watching the entire story unfold before you. Darrell knows how to write!Thank you so much for this video. My grandparents & dad were beekeepers. I’m happy to say nothing like that ever happened to them. And it’s excellent advice for anyone who wants to become a beekeeper. I love bees & always feel honored when they come to visit my yard. 💜🐝
I don't have a bee experience, I have a yellow jacket story. I was kicking in the soil of the woods, watching my dad cut down a tree. I kicked open a nest of yellow jackets unknownly, and was stung Seventeen times.my mom put snuff on the bites. I threw up later and did not feel well. I wasn't taken to doctor, but luckily I survived🥴.my mom didn't take us to Dr unless we were half dead.lol I think I was about 7 yrs old, I'm 80 now and rem it vividly.
Awesome story!!

Being a small hobby beekeeper I totally appreciate this story 😮 thank you 😊 God bless ♥️
I enjoyed the bee story. The bee's in Africa are aggressive and dangerous. Thank you. From South Africa 🇿🇦
I will share this with my family out by the fire! Great stuff!!
Holy BASIL!
Oh my gosh! I would of passed out from the ordeal. How terrifying. It is good he wrote both incidences down to remember them.
Thanks for sharing that Kaye and Daryl, that was a sweet story, no pun intended of course. Wink, 😉
Good story and I only had time to watch some. Shalom🐝

Great story. Darryl should consider writing a book of his adventures.
Darrell, I hope that you have written down many of your adventures. You are a captivating writer! What a treat to hear somebody share their talent in such an entertaining way. I wish that more people took the time to develop the art of storytelling like Darrell has!
Girlfriend I need help!! Is there an easy way to seed save the tiny lemon basil seeds?? If you know or anyone else…we know how hard it is for old eyes and hands to do stuff with the tiniest of seeds!!
My bee sting story: I was splitting wood 4 feet outside my door under my car port. I had an old fashioned wash machine out there. When I split a log it split and hit the wash machine…riled a hive of YELLOW JACKETS. They were on me like white on rice. I was 4 feet outside my door and frantically ran into the door with about 6-10 of them on me, under my clothes INSIDE MY SOCK. Stinging me over and over and over. I was slamming myself against walls trying to smash them or get them off of me. The end result…my whole body was BURNING in WAVES. (comes and goes and intensifies) If you don't know about this particular bee it has a 3 day sting, it comes in waves the last phase is extreme itch. It is unbearable. I didn't have health insurance so I walked around the house trying to walk off the pain. I should have gone to the hospital anyway. I ended up with Mersa infection (I'm sure because my body was at it's max trying to rid of the toxins and the stress it was under) What I learned now…I got stung (one sting) a few months later. I put epsom salt on it. Wet the skin and put epsom salt. Ohhh my gosh….it took away the pain and no three day sting. I must say though…maybe my body was able to ward off one sting as opposed to several???? Unsure. But if anyone gets stung…try it. It worked for me. Thanks for sharing Daryl.
I loved my honeybees BUT hate yellow jackets, hornets, and wasps. Got into jacket nest..covered in stings and paralyzed my hand almost two weeks. Deadly reaction but God had a nurse in the neighborhood and had a EpiPen. Have 4 Epipens I keep at all times but never had a reaction with my sweet honeybees… A lady in our community passed from a single sting. Had never reacted before. Be careful❤️
