  1. Hi Carrie!

Found your page a bit ago when looking for info about starting a garden and I appreciate your content so much!!

Where are you overalls/jumpsuit from in this video?! Love them 🤩

  2. I think that the world would be a better place if the orphaned lamb had a friend, :). It is New Zealand and there are sheep everywhere, embrace it!

Fr tho, he looks like such a good boy that he deserves a friend, or even better friends!

  3. Would love to hear your tips and advice for growing herbs and veggies in an apartment/on a balcony! Currently living in London so limited sunshine too…🌞

  4. Carrie this is literally the most beautiful video I’ve seen on YouTube. I am so happy for y’all. 🤍

  5. I have those same clippers – they are so cute! I have to admit they definitely work better for flower stems than cabbages. I have to use my big ugly clippers for cabbage 😅 You made it work tho! <3

  6. I’m Mexican and we eat zucchini blossoms (we call them flor de calabaza) in quesadillas they taste super yummy!! ☺️

  7. I’d love to learn how to do a no-dig garden! My backyard is very small & I have a dog, so I do container gardens. But, I’m hoping to have a big backyard soon!

  8. I followed you wayyyyy back when you started. I loved your videos then, but somehow I lost your channel over the years. I had no idea you were into homesteading and I absolutely looove your channel now. I also garden and want to homestead. Your content is so relaxing and inspiring! Congrats on 300,000 🥰

  9. Could you perhaps create a veggie/herb planagram? Just so I can get an idea of what veggies and herbs should and shouldn't be next to each other, thanks!!

  10. I am half Italian and have heard about the use of zucchini flowers in cooking but never tried it. I would love to have your recipe! Caprese salad is one of my favorite things. Sometimes I eat just that for dinner. I recently discovered your channel and am so enamored with the homestead and lifestyle. You are truly blessed ❤️ It’s so Inspiring to see your garden! Thanks so much for sharing. V. Randazzo from CA.

  11. Thank you for sharing your garden with me. I just love how it’s all coming 🫑🍅🪴👍together and growing so nicely! I love to garden and I also make garden videos. I in my 3rd year gardening. I have so much to still learn. I’d love it if we could learn more from each other! Happy gardening 👨‍🌾 🌷🌼🌻🌺🌸🌹🐝

  12. This is the kind of life grew up in. After working in the city for most of my life, I am gradually getting back to gardening and nature. All the fragrances, birds and insect sounds, fruits and vegetables right off the tree and vines, it is a little taste of heaven. Blessings on your homestead.

  13. I would like to know how you do your beds? I'm still in AZ so does it matter were you live to do the type of flower beds you do?

  14. Amazing work, you could literally eat from the land, save as you go and build a wide community. A good life 🙂 many kiwi people dream of this lifestyle but for one reason or another aren't quite able to become successful in doing so.

  15. Carrie, while I patiently await work Visa Sponsorship process lol, we are gardening! I am wanting to do something crazy cool and remove ugly dated dying front of house hedges and replace with a front yard garden. I think kale and „Swiss chard“ make beautiful edible borders. What are your creative thoughts considering front yard gardens?

I have re-routed gutters to collect and re-use rainwater (I grew up using cisterns for all water needs) most efficiently.

Favorite recipe at holidays: Butternut squash soup! Always grate red onion, ginger… use roasted pecans (or sub walnuts), veggie broth, and best NZ honey with maybe a tad brown sugar to sweeten to taste but we prefer less sweet. I serve in vintage tea cups. Red onion and ginger give t to e perfect spiciness. Sometimes I add cardamon.

Lastly… I have germinated many seeds this week 🎉… when do you transplant usually?
