Me and my brother grow Spanish Kumatos the best tomatoes I've ever tasted
New greenhouse, seeds planted at the ready. Wish me luck.
Great advice. It's taken me around 46 years to learn most of these tips by trial and error…Amazing channel for gardeners young and old.
Hello Tony,I have been following you for a number of years as I always seem to learn something I should have already known. I have two questions,(1) On the sunken bottles;do you take the tops off the bottles or leave it on and drill a smaller hole in it,? (2)Do you advocate removing the lower blooms until the plant gets to be around 12-18 inches tall?
Hi Tony, I grow Orange wellington and Hawaiian Pineapple !
We get a nice variety BUT my favorite is San Marzano
I have discovered your channel recently and just love how much you share and teach us all. Keep up the great work. 👏
Great content Tony, you sure know your onions this year I'm growing crimson blush, bigboy, big leave, pink brandy and sungold I'm in Sussex I've never grown these varietys are they a waste of time ie diseases or if hygiene practices are followed will I get some results cheers Tony
I use the bamboo sticks as well but I use cut strips of old cotton t-shirts to tie them to the sticks. The cotton doesn't damage the stalks of the plant. I live in a windy area and hard ties wear bad places on the stalks.
Neat ideas with the cane supports and pop bottles.
Hi Tony, thanks for your advice about growing in pots, I have done so this season and have flowers on some of them so, will be pinching them out today 🙂 have ordered your book a few weeks ago & still waiting for Amazon to deliver. Thanks for sharing and take care 🙂
Hi Tony, aside from the hole at the bottom of the bottle, how many holes do you place along the side of the 2 litre bottle? Also, what did you use to make the holes in the bottles?
Cannot find your tea you make for tomatoes
This season started with moneymaker, then added a few rainbows, followed by some unknown Russian variety and ended by adding a few San marzano.
What do you do with all your veg mate
What a great tutorial. Love the upside bottle idea! Some great tips here. Thanks
