I’m looking at info from my local extension office: https://sustainagga.caes.uga.edu/management/cover-crops.html
And there’s a lot of “can be killed with herbicide” and different stages of when things should be killed. Can I just cut plants a few inches below soil?
Is the point of the cover crop to enhance soil by simply existing? Or is it meant that once the crop is killed it should be left in the soil? Is that true for all cover crops, or different depending on what you grow? Radishes (and other brassicas) are listed. Does it mean for the radishes to be left in the soil to decompose?
