Right now I just have fabric tied to the netting around the pumpkin but it’s quickly outgrowing the hammock. Maybe a net produce bag would work?

Pantyhose, usually you can cut them into a few pieces to get multiple hangers. Make a little hammock for them 🙂

Never have. The plants hold them and I grow all of my squash (including some 30lb candy roasters) on vertical trellis.

Hilarious! I use rectangles of stretchy fabric, like from a t shirt. I tie the fabric to the trellis on either side like a hammock and it works nicely for my sugar pies.
