Fridge Pickle Recipe: In a 2 quart jar, combine washed and trimmed veggies, 1.5 cups vinegar, 1.5 tbsp salt, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp black peppercorns, 1 tbsp dry dill, 2 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp red pepper flakes (or ground cayenne pepper). Top off jar with water. Shake frequently and keep cold. Pickles are done when the jar is empty.
