I love decorating for Christmas, and I’m also the kind of person who gets ridiculously excited when a pretty bird shows up in my yard. Cardinals? LOVE THEM. Chickadees? Precious. A fat little squirrel stealing all the birdseed? Okay, fine, he can have some, too. But I’ve never considered decorating specifically for my feathered backyard visitors until now, and suddenly I feel like I’ve been neglecting their holiday spirit.

Walmart has a Christmas Tree bird feeder that looks like something straight out of a fancy Christmas garden, and I am completely smitten. It’s designed to resemble a beautiful little Christmas tree, complete with elegant curling branches, festive greenery, pinecones, red berries, and a star on top. The birdseed sits in a dish at the bottom, which means your neighborhood birds can enjoy their own little Christmas buffet. HOW CUTE IS THAT?!

The decorative bird feeder is made from iron and designed for outdoor use, so you can display it in your garden, yard, or patio throughout the holiday season. The listing also describes it as easy to refill and clean, which is important because nobody wants to spend Christmas morning wrestling with a complicated bird feeder.

And can we discuss how pretty it is? The product image shows a glowing Christmas tree with two gorgeous Cardinals perched beside the seed dish. It’s basically a Hallmark Christmas movie, except the stars are birds and nobody has to fall in love with a handsome Christmas tree farmer.

Who Needs This Christmas Tree Bird Feeder?

Besides every bird in my neighborhood, obviously.

The person who decorates EVERYTHING for Christmas. Your house has lights, your mailbox has a bow, and now your birds have a Christmas tree.

The backyard birdwatcher. Nothing beats watching little feathered visitors stop by for breakfast, especially on a snowy morning.

The Cardinal enthusiast. Imagine a bright red cardinal perched on this beautiful feeder. I would never leave my window.

The person shopping for a nature lover. This would make such a sweet holiday gift for someone who loves birds and gardening.

I love Christmas decorations that are pretty enough to enjoy even when you’re not hosting a party, and this one has the added bonus of feeding hungry little visitors.

Now I just need someone to make tiny Christmas stockings for the squirrels.
