Looks great ! Now’s the time to fertilize with nitrogen and phosphorus, preferably in liquid form to speed up feeding. Nitrogen helps grow large frame crowns while phosphorous helps increase the size of florets. One thing many folks overlook is that a broccoli crown is an immature flower. If you were to allow your broccoli crown to mature fully all of the tiny buds in the florets would open into little yellow flowers. Phosphorous is good for increasing the size and health if the root system while also growing larger flower blossoms..hence the reason for fertilizing with extra phosphorus. A great product is Agrothrive’s liquid “fruit & flower” with an NPK of 3-3-5. It provides plenty of the big three nutrients and best of all it’s organic !
