First time growing North Carolina Candy Roasters. This photo is from early in the Season. It ended up being 12 lbs when ripe. It was delicious. The flavor was milder than I expected. But when roasted it really shined and you got a really clean squash flavor. Took up too much space in our garden but will still consider growing again. It really got the neighborhood talking.
