I wanted to give everyone an update on our favorite kale tree. After a very unusually hot, humid, and somewhat rainy August due to hurricanes/tropical storms off the coast of Mexico, my kale tree did a good job getting through that weather anomaly. Shout out to everyone from Florida and the South because that type of weather was not it for us Californians.
I was expecting some bolting to happen, but it did not happen this year. Maybe next year? But overall its still growing, healthy, and is continuously growing taller than the house, which still amazes me.
About to enter our 6th year with this, so here's to many more to come!
For those who didn't see my last post..I've had this kale growing since 2021 and it's still going strong.

Really neat! Do you have to pull out a ladder to harvest from it?
Is it still good or has it become bitter?
Glad to see this another year
Wow! I have been impressed with my kale bush, but it’s not a tree yet!
Any bush can be a tree if you try hard enough
This is amazing. I hope the saga continues for more years!!
