I have always enjoyed making trellises, so thought I would share this years trellis designs, ready for the beans to grow across spring into summer. One is fairly tidy looking one, the other delightfully more chaotic spider web, with a spider. The buried about 30cm deep with back support, and the extra netting leaning against the trellis are to keep the cats out of the bed and will be removed later once the bed is full of more vegetables.
Been gardening for years amongst my families various gardens, and on a market garden… feels good to be finally "well enough" at 30 odd, too try and look after my own garden. Was a good feeling to turn the sod on my lawn; I just hope, I got the right ratios of various organic matter all blended in to my soil to make my plants happy.
