Hi all,
Just wondering if this soaking liquid is looking right. All the tutorials said to soak stinging nettles for two weeks in water before diluting for a fertiliser, but no one actually shows the process, and i’m just wondering if this is looking right? it’s been a week so far and it’s got a weird film on it? do i toss, or stir it in, or leave to ferment? Thank you!!

It’s done when it smells like manure. It has a really strong smell, so its best to water with it on rainy days in case you have neighbours who like sitting in their gardens when the weather is nice. Mine gets a film too.
Toss in a handful of leaf mold. Google jadam liquid fertilizer. I used to grow nettle specifically for fermented fertilizer I made in big 40 gallon drums. It works great!
