These are everywhere in my soil! I am guessing some type of moth larvae? I fear for if they are harmful, my whole bed is full of them. Located in socal. Any info helps.

Wait I had the exact same thing happen to me when planting a couple months ago-

Foe, those are grubs. You can get some nematodes, mix with water, and soak your beds with them. The biggest issue was that these guys attracted all the skunks in the neighborhood, who dug up ALL my beds.
I’m also in SoCal, so you’ll need to make sure to keep watering the beds after you administer the nematodes because of how hot it is these days.
Grubs are usually beetle larvae. Most arent true friends but many are also not enemies. it really depends on where you are as to what kind of larvae you are finding. If they are Japanese beetles there is a bacterial treatment that kills them in larval form. Milky spore powder is the term I’ve seen used for it.
Seeing you are in CA…they are usually Green Fruit beetles or Masked Chafers. Green fruit beetles look like big metallic green june bugs that fly around like they are drunk. They dont eat leaves but will eat ripened fruit. The chafers are smaller and like a 1/2 long brown pill shaped beetle.
