Now that fall is here, there are lots of chances to make fall planters for outdoors and autumn arrangements inside.

Throughout the Lancaster County region are talks about fall garden cleanup, grow lights and saving seed. There are DIY classes for kids and adults to make succulent-topped pumpkins plus long-lasting pumpkins made from glass and wood.

There are also mindful walks in the woods, a session on coppicing trees and a perennial conference.
