I have one question. Can someone please invent a machine that shrinks me down to bird size?

Because I would absolutely move into this ridiculously adorable little structure.

Anthropologie’s handcrafted Bird Seed Cottage from Terrain looks like the kind of cozy holiday home you’d expect woodland animals to rent on Airbnb. It’s covered in colorful bird seed and decorated with festive holiday details, making it almost too cute to let the birds eat. Almost.

Each handmade cottage is crafted in the USA using wood and covered with a colorful assortment of bird seed, dried flowers, and fruit that gives hungry birds a festive holiday feast.

There are two charming styles to choose from.

One is decorated with a tiny holiday wreath, while the other features festive garland. Personally, I don’t think you can go wrong because they’re both outrageously charming.

I keep imagining little Chickadees arguing over who gets to eat the sunflower seed roof first.

The cottage comes from Terrain, Anthropologie’s nature inspired home and garden collection that’s known for creating beautiful outdoor decor with a handcrafted feel. If you’ve ever wandered into a Terrain store thinking you were “just looking,” you already know how dangerous that can be for your wallet.

Why Winter Bird Feeding Matters

Winter can be one of the hardest seasons for backyard birds as natural food sources become more difficult to find. Offering high quality bird seed helps provide the extra energy many species need during cold weather while also turning your yard into a busy gathering place for feathered visitors.

And let’s be honest.

Watching birds visit a tiny gingerbread cottage is infinitely more entertaining than staring out the window waiting for your package to arrive.

If you’ll excuse me, I’ll be over here trying to figure out whether Anthropologie makes one in human size.
