PORT WASHINGTON — Whether one is wrapping up a Fish Days weekend or simply looking for a relaxing Sunday outing, the Port Washington Garden Club invites visitors and local county residents to explore seven inspiring gardens during the 2026 Port Washington Garden Walk, being held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The self-guided tour showcases seven unique gardens throughout Port Washington, each with its own personality and story. Visitors will discover a wide variety of gardening styles, from native landscapes and pollinator habitats to colorful perennial borders, woodland settings, productive edible gardens, and an elegant estate garden. Along the way, they’ll find creative ideas, beautiful scenery, and inspiration for gardens of every size.

This year’s featured gardens celebrate the many ways people connect with nature. Guests will experience peaceful backyard retreats, neighborhood pollinator projects, thriving fruit and vegetable gardens, artistic landscapes, and gardens that continue to evolve year after year. Whether one is an experienced gardener, a new homeowner looking for ideas or someone who simply enjoys beautiful outdoor spaces, the Garden Walk offers something for everyone.

“Our Garden Walk is about sharing ideas, inspiring others and celebrating the joy that gardens bring to our community,” said Glenyss Gilliam, president of the Port Washington Garden Club. “We hope visitors and residents alike will spend a summer Sunday exploring these beautiful gardens and discovering the creativity and passion behind each one.”
