Tavern on the Green has now opened a beer garden outside the restaurant with three kinds of beers on tap — Spaten, Budweiser and Hoegaarden — for $6 to $7 for a pint or $18 for a pitcher. Burgers are $18, notes A Walk in the Park. (That doesn’t seem to conform to the community board’s demand that Tavern serve fare for the common folk). It’s open until 11 p.m. during the week and 1 a.m. on weekends.
