A seasonal Woodburn beer garden was ranked by USA Today readers as one of the best in the United States.
USA Today asked a group of industry experts to nominate finalists across eight categories, before readers voted on the final rankings to determine the best beer and breweries in the United States.
Categories for the awards include Best Beer Bar, Best Beer City, Best Beer Festival, Best Beer Garden, Best Beer Label, Best Brewery Tour, Best Brewpub and Best New Brewery.
TopWire Hop Project was among the establishments chosen for the publication’s 10BEST Reader’s Choice Awards for best garden in the U.S.
Each beer garden chosen for the top 10 stood out for their “lush green spaces, quality beer selections, and inviting atmospheres,” with many offering “grassy lawns, shady trees, comfortable seating, great food, and even room for your four‑legged friends to relax beside you,” USA Today said.

“Set on a working hop farm in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, the seasonally open TopWire Hop Project offers a beer garden surrounded by the crops that make the magic happen,” USA Today said. “Guests can enjoy hop-forward brews and other styles in an open-air setting that highlights the connection between agriculture and brewing.”
Visitors can enjoy the outdoors among towering hop fields at Crosby Hop Farm and views of Mt. Hood while sampling rotating craft beers from local breweries across the Pacific Northwest.
