I switched to a self watering planter awhile ago cuz she required water almost every other day. And would wilt so bad if she was thirsty.
The first pic was taken the other day I thought I had finally killed her on accident bc I had completely forgot to refill the water reservoir and I had never seen her so shriveled up. The second pic was this dramatic ho a couple hours later.

Yeah they wanna stay wet down there, especially in the heat
Great idea!! If you see purple blooms on her pinch them off immediately to extend her life! I learned this too late!
Hahahaha SO dramatic 💙
I have such a love/hate relationship with this my polka dot plant! Every time I think I’m finally going to just toss her because she won’t stop flowering and trying to kill herself to do it, she’ll just perk up and look all beautiful again. I even bought a whole ass replacement plant for her pot last time, but ended up needing a new pot for the replacement because I decided to keep the polka dot. It’s literally insane.
Am I the only one who just lets these things go to seed and keep generations of them at a time? They don’t live that long as it is…
Mines also a hypoestes lol. But shes struggling so much, im close to giving up. I’ve resorted to just cutting most of her branches. (She’s the sad looking thing beside the pothos)

My silverleaf fern is the biggest drama queen I’ve ever met. Wilted every evening. Give her a few sips of water and she’s fine by the morning. Give her a proper soaking and she’ll throw another kind of fit. I guess I’m just resigned to hydrating her sip by sip.
My **Gryphon Begonia** did this the other day for the first time. Thought it was a goner, but it bounced right back. Drama!!
