Looks like tree of heaven, remove asap if possible (unless it’s native in your area, though highly unlikely since it’s an absolute menace at spreading)

It looks like “tree of Heaven” (Ailanthus altissima), quite a pain to get rid of because of how it sheds seeds. Just a guess though.

Junk tree ( tree of paradise, invasive from china )that gets huge fast and is hard to kill. RIP it out immediately.

Sumac doesnt have glandular teeth, so I’m going to go with tree of heaven

Crush a leaf and smell it. If it smells like gross peanut butter, it’s Tree of Heaven.

Tree of “Heaven”. Kill it. Dig it up as much as you can and then enjoy the rest of your life seeing them constantly shoot up all around your property. Pull them/dig them up as soon as you see them. Those things are awful.

I hit a bunch this size with Roundup. Heavily and they’re gone. I’m watching the area but so far so good.

Tree of Heven. If it’s under 1″ diameter, bend back and forth to expose fibers in the stalk, spray with triclopyr or glyphosate (triclopyr is better, most glyphosate is under the 41% concentration required). Squirt some on the fibers and leave for a month. At this time of year, plant calls for nutrients from above that are sucked into roots to help produce the fruit for reproduction. This is when you want the poison infiltrating. Let it sit a month, leaves yellow, then cut it. then dig up early next year, try to extract all roots.

When we cut a TOH, it reacts by sending a signal for all roots to push up suckers. If you just cut this without properly treating, you’ll have a TOH forest soon enough.

Tree of heaven, a host plant for lantern flies. Pull up if possible

The nubs at the base of the leaves and the absence of toothed edges tells me that this is tree-of-heaven. Pull up the baby tree by hand and try to get all of the roots.

If larger trees are nearby, DO NOT cut them down outright, as this will promote suckering. Instead, perform the hack and squirt technique and cut them down after they die.
