My lawn is being taken over this light green coloured weed. It started along the edge and grew in quicker than the grass but was only in one area. Now it’s starting to spread all over and I’ve tried pulling it but it’s futile.
I’ve used several Fiesta weed killer applications but it does nothing to it.
I’m located in Ontario Canada so it can be illegal to get certain chemicals and herbicides delivered or bought at a store. Ive noticed around the suburbs that some or most lawns have this weed. but there are a few that don’t have any at all, like 0. what are they doing to kill it or get rid of it?

Also in Ontario – which fiesta products did you apply? And how did you apply it?
So unsure exactly what weed that is but can tell you that it needs 2 4 d to beat get rid of it . Is it just crab grass ? I understand 2 4 d is not available to buy or use.
Is it an option to find a lawn company like weed man or someone to spray your lawn ? Some commerical companies are allowed to use it in your area. Or to the best of my knowledge.
When you used the fiesta did you use a surfactant with it ? Did you spray in the am when you have some dew ? Did you spray to the point the weed is flooded amd almost run off or runs off ?
Are you allowed to use any conventional herbicides?

Fiesta isn’t failing because you applied it wrong, it targets broadleaf weeds, and this is a grassy weed. Same reason 2,4-D isn’t the answer here. In Ontario, I’d pull the worst clumps before they seed, overseed the gaps and focus on prevention next spring.
That looks exactly like creeping Charlie, a tough one to get rid of completely but hand-pulling after rain makes it easier since the soil is softer.
