As you can see from the photos, this cactus has changed dramatically since I bought it. It’s under 300watt LED lights. I have noticed a lot of cactus I buy change when they go under the lights. Any ideas or info would be much appreciated. The last photo is how I bought it and the other three were from a year ago, it’s grown a lot bigger since then.

Usually when you buy them they have been under heavy shade cloth and pumped full of nutrients. You are clearly giving it enough light, the spines of those ferocactuses are well developed for artificial light.
