Propagation help


This is my first time propagating so im not sure if im doing this right. It gets lots of sun, and is watered…clearly.

    You can’t just propagate from a leaf lol 😂 it needs a node where the roots would be able to come out of.

    I’m not sure from the photo, but is one node underwater? I usually make sure I have at least two nodes submerged. It also likes bright but indirect light while it’s rooting. Direct light can burn the leaves and encourage algae growth.

    There isn’t a node on that cutting, so there isn’t anywhere for it to root.

    If you dont have a node, you can try dipping the stem in rooting powder and dropping carefully into soil.
