We WILL have to trim it way back though, as it’s certainly grown super out of control this summer. But it’s given me so many incredible blackberries, I’m very thankful to this bush.
Buying blackberries is crazy expensive, and in such a small container. I just got 3.5 pounds of blackberries for free! Didn’t even buy the seeds — this bush just came out of nowhere one year and has been flourishing ever since!
I love my wild berry bush 🤗❤️

Abundance! I am so jealous! I just purchased a bare root prime ark freedom blackberry plant and a Joan J raspberry and they won’t be here until December 😫 I will have to live vicariously through posts like these. Do you fertilize it at all?
The best!
Really ain’t nothing like backyard berries. Looks delicious. Enjoy.

😫 i’m so jealous. I just got a bush this year.
That’s amazing! What zone are you in?
Nice haul!!!!
ENJOY!! I have eaten exactly 2 blackberries out of mine, mind you they’re huge but barely produced.
Those are absolutely gorgeous!
Doggo looks so happy to be part of the fruit picking
Well you did give it a place to sit.
We bought a house and it came with a blackberry bush as well:) we love it

The idea of deliberately planting blackberries is anathema to me.
The birds don’t eat them?
Before doing any pruning, make sure you know if the plant puts fruit on new canes or not. Don’t want to trim the new canes and rob yourself of fruit next year
Your dog is waiting so patiently for some 🥰 awe
The birds have discovered the blackberry bushes here… We have many purple bird poops on the patio 🤣
Nice and they are so big. I’m planning to forage them in about 2 weeks times. Last years, I got 35kg. I work at a 3 hectors blueberry farm. The entire perimeter is wild blackberries.
