I didn't take care of these Marigolds. Can someone help teach me how to bring them back to health?

Marigolds typically take in around 8 hours of sun.

These Marigolds were already previously stressed with drooping leaves and stems as well as some browned out and yellowed leaves/stems self-detaching.

Water is usually added when soil is somewhat dry on the surface.

Regular garden soil used for potting as no potting soil is currently available at my house.

Please help! I'm cooked!!!

Sorry, but I don’t think these guys are coming back. Too far gone.

In the summer put them in the shade, sun is strong enough, and water around 10am till water runs out the pots.
