I thought it could be ready since its greens were so big. Then I pulled it out and it was so little. This isn't exactly an organized planting of carrots, and seeds from Lowe's so I wasn't expecting much. But, I expected more than this haha.

    There’s some different fertilizer/soil nutrient makeup that dictates what part of the plant it focuses on. I have never gotten an actual carrot either 🙁

    So carrots are a root crop, a tuber, they need only phosphorous and potassium

    think rock phosphate and sulfate of potash, you can mix both in the soil at time of planting, sprinkle periodically or dissolve a tbsp of each into a hose end sprayer and water with that, they will be massive and delecious, regardless of seeds used
