Here is my current progress. Should I try to attack the grape vines and expose the azaleas or is this a total tear out and re landscape? My property line runs behind all of the growth.
Can you post a few close up picks of the problem area?

If those are grapes then wait until Summer’s over to whack them back intensely. Look up how to prune a grapevine. I would not suggest removing it because having fresh fruit in your backyard it’s pretty awesome.

I’d just pull out the weeds for now and see how it looks afterwards. It’s actually a gorgeous, low maintenance yard. Congrats!

From that far vines look way better than that exposed fence. Just sayin 🤔

Grapes are difficult to destroy, but they will happily destroy all that they touch. Got to get to the roots.

This space is absolutely gorgeous. I see no problems here.

Go easy with the sheers, and watch your yard over 4 seasons for a more comprehensive game plan. Wow, that got serious.
