Sure, summer might be coming to a close. But that doesn’t mean we want our space to lose its light either! Before we transition to total fall mode, we want to add a few more pieces of summertime to our spaces. One of the best ways to do that is to add some plants, and thankfully Aldi has got us covered when it comes to small indoor plants that will add some whimsy to our rooms.
Now’s the time to run to your local Aldi and search high and low for their plant section. While we know this selection always changes, right now most Aldi stores are carrying small plants from their Costa Farms brand, including a 2.5-inch Lucky Bamboo. This is the perfect addition to your home, and let us tell you why.

Costa Farms Lucky Bamboo 2.5in, $6.49, at Aldi
The Costa Farms Lucky Bamboo is only $6.49, and such a steal. This delicate bamboo is only 2.5 inches tall and comes with a tiny pastel colored planter. Whether you want to display this on your coffee table or use it as a centerpiece for your dining room, this mini plant can help keep the summer vibes going.
And this isn’t the only plant in stock right now! Depending on the available inventory of your local store, you should be able to find a myriad of small plant options all for the same price. Stores vary, but plants are usually kept in either the front section of the stores or next to the registers, making it a hard purchase to pass up.

How to Take Care of Bamboo
If you’ve never taken care of a bamboo plant before, don’t worry. These plants are extremely hardy and do quite well on their own. Bamboo should be kept in an area of your home that gets bright, indirect sun. Do not place bamboo in direct sunlight as this can burn the leaves.
If you want to repot your bamboo, just make sure it is planted in well-draining soil. You can also keep it in a container of clean water, ideally distilled, along with some small pebbles. If you choose the latter option, make sure to switch out the water at least once a week.
