Ahead of their final regular season game at TD Garden, the Connecticut Sun announced Tuesday their schedule of events for their Boston finale, including a block party on Canal Street before the Aug. 18 matchup with the Los Angeles Sparks.

For the third consecutive (and final) year, the Sun are hosting a summer game at TD Garden. Connecticut also hosted Los Angeles in 2024 and took on Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever last July.

As the team has over the last two years, the Sun will host a block party on Canal Street, which is free and open to the public on Aug. 18. In previous years, the block party has included pop-ups and basketball mini-games as well as food and drink.

The block party will run from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. before tip-off at 7 p.m.

Playing their final season in Connecticut before a 2027 move to Houston, the Sun have languished near the bottom of the standings under second-year coach Rachid Meziane. Connecticut is 7-23, sitting in 14th above only the 6-26 Seattle Storm and beneath both new expansion franchises in Toronto and Portland.

The Sun’s previous trips to Boston sold out TD Garden in both 2024 and 2025.
