Hello!
I'm a new plant owner and obtained these four pothos on sale at Lowe's for $5. They had some marks on them but I they seem to be getting worse. Is there something wrong I'm doing? I tried to cut off some brown parts but I'm not sure if that's made the leaf worse!

Overwatering probably. Trim your damaged leaves into a point/leaf shape
Looks like thrips to me. See any super tiny black or brown bugs? they usually hang out on the leaf edges
