I LOVE the idea of putting the cedar shakes on the interior of the doors, it will go so well with the high tunnels. And the color goes well with the barn color!

I am going to keep saying it! Every time I see that triple black arch over the pathway I see how gorgeous your Collette Roses (that is on both ends of the raised bed garden) would look planted there. I know it would be hard to cut them all the way to the ground to move them and start over, but the end result would be worth it. Aaron would be happy to see them moved.

HOW IS SHE ALLOWED TO USE SO MUCH WATER ON ALL THAT IRRIAGATION SYSTEM SHE HAS RUNNING. THE STRAIN ON THE INFRASTUSTURE MUST BE IMMENSE. EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING THEIR BIT TO HELP PRESERVE WATER AND SHE'S JUST WATERING THE GRASS. SHE DOESN'T HAVE WATER BUFFS OR ANY ROOF RUNOFFS FOR HER IRRIGATION NEEDS.

I love sedum so much. I love the drifts and layers you’ve achieved throughout your property. Another option for the barn doors might be to replace the plywood with frosted poly panels. That way it would let light in.

If you paint the panels in barn doors gray, you could put your artistic talents to good use by painting either a white or black silhouette outline of plants extending from bottom panel to top panel of each door.

Missed stopping in at Andrew’s Seed store while driving home to Ohio from Walla Walla, WA due to the fires. Drove home on I-90. My kids were not evacuated , but some families in Milton Freewater were. We pray for all involved.

Laura, you should try next year to do the chelsea chop on your asters and mums. It would be a good topic for a video and to see the results at the end of the season. It would help to prevent your asters from splaying.

Laura, the gaura is stunning!!!! That whole berm is just beautiful!! I love my penstemon, such a pretty plant. I had volunteers that came up this year, so moved some to another bed. So easy to make more plants…gotta love that!
