Just made apricot jam from our own tree, I use the pink box, lower sugar. Love to share! Not every year is a good crop, but was great this year. Depends on if we get a late frost.

If you don't want chemicals in your food, use a stainless steel funnel and never use plastic utensils, non stick cookware or plastic bags for food storage.
It’s not safe to can with fresh lemon juice because fresh lemon juice has an unpredictable acid level, the acid changes from lemon to lemon. Bottled lemon juice is what is recommended for safe canning.
Potato salad and macaroni salad are also very specific to what you grew up with. Priscilla & Chelsea are cross stitch YouTubers who have a great yard sauce recipe for freezing that’s really good. They are huge fans of yours and they’d get a kick out of it if you made Priscilla’s recipe.

I don’t know why but I love seeing the trunk of that redbud covered with a lacy clematis. I hope you plant lower growing something in front so we can still see the trunk and clematis. The air, praying the quality is much better.

I've never made tart cherry jam, but I've been making dark cherry jam since the early 70s when we lived in Montana! The cherries grew on the east side of Flathead Lake, and it wasn't too far from the mine where my hubby was doing field work for hei thesis. Luckily, the grocery stores have a special at least once during the time they are in season! Marinara sauce is one thing I haven't canned. I planted 16 roma tomatoes this year hoping to get enough to make pasta sauce and pizza sauce. I'm not getting any tomatoes this summer because of Mother Nature; she sent extremely high temperatures in early July, and they fried! Now that I'm moving in a week, I won't be leaving a successful garden for someone new! If the farmers' market has tomatoes after I'm settled, I may get enough for canning.
What recipe do you use for Spaghetti sauce. I tried to make one last year and it just didn't cut it . Would love to try yours.

So I believe the wire is called hog wire and they do sell black at Lowe’s. At least that’s where I found mine. I just bought a cherry pitter on Amazon, they had several different models to look at;) Maybe for future use 🤷♀️
