I’m jealous of your onion harvest. My kind of haul! I have had a hard time sprouting onion seeds. Very few ever make it to transplant. I’m wondering what I’m doing wrong because I see how easy it always is for you. Any quirks I should be aware of?

Wish I could get my cucumber and tomatoes to grow as good as yours do.
Not sure what im doing wrong . Them darn caterpillar also ate some of my plants up.

Im Louisiana zone 9b by the way ,maybe they needed more water – however im not 100% sure the issue because I've had some success some years and others not so much..
Im growing corn and green beans which are doing amazing .

Your tomatoes look great! How often do you let the drip run and how long? My tomatoes are not looking good, a lot of splitting, from what I’ve heard is overwatering. I have better boy and beef masters. Thanks 😊

I love it when sometimes you end up planting the exact same thing I'm planting. I too got some flats of semps for mine and my neighbours gardens. QUESTION: I live in zone 9b, would semps over winter in our gardens. My neighbour's is a mature garden and mine is new but east facing so quite shady in areas.
I know you're saying it that way to shorten the word sempervivum, but when you say "semp" I hear "Simp" or… Noun, a person who is silly or not intelligent. Simp is short for simpleton. Or, someone who tries too hard to do what another person wants, especially in a romantic relationship. Also there is a slang acronym for simp, I won't put it here, but you're free to look it up yourself…. just so you know…

Throw those extra leftover onions in a pickle jar with juice or a pickled beet juice jar and store in fridge. In just a few days you’ll have great picked onions to use on a salad, or sandwich, or whatever! 😋

I just bought my fourth pocket hose after watching you hook up one out there. I believe it was a dirt lands and I absolutely love mine. In fact I’m taking down my retractable one which I like it but I like the pocket hoses much more and it won’t take as big as space up.
Hi Laura, I have been watching your video's since 2015 you have taught me so much about plants so my question is: I have not really had any luck with tomato plants when starting them by seed so this year I bought a beefsteak tomato plant and planted it in a container and it started to produce fruit but they are very small I give it tomato fertilizer and make sure the soil does not dry out. I noticed the leaves start curling do you have any idea what else I can try or should I just get another plant lol.
Your tomatoes are plentiful!! I’ve only grown tomatoes into pots, or a raised bed and never have had that many! The raised bed produced the most compared to when I have the plant in a pot. I only fertilize weekly. If they’re in pots do you think my harvest is small because they aren’t getting enough fertilizer and I should kick it up to every 4 days? Or is it simply that the roots only have the pot size to rely on for growth rather than the freedom of a raised bed or in your case the field size!
Would tarping over winter help reduce weeds for the row crops?
