I bought this Calabrese Hot Pepper plant and I’m getting these peppers, does anyone know what I have here? I thought the Calabrian Chili peppers were long and skinny so I think I have a different variety. Thanks! by BuddyNYC peppers 5 Comments BigRedTard 5 hours ago They could be cherry bomb peppers. They are not calabrian chilis for sure. PintRT 5 hours ago There are many shapes and sizes of peppers from Calabria. They could be Calabrian Casarella, better known as cherry peppers. NervousSnail 5 hours ago Interesting. It would appear that there are in fact more than one variety called Calabrese. One round, one longer but somewhat stubby, and one long and skinny. Anna_Rompage 5 hours ago Looks like you got cherry peppers instead – the big question is will they be hot, or just sweet BuddyNYC 4 hours ago Thanks all! Should I pick these when they turn red? Feels like they’ve been green like this for a while,
