Not sure if this is landscaping… but had some wild rain here. Noticed water is pooling up in the front of my new home and parts of my driveway. I was thinking about putting a french drain in and possibly routing it to the side of the house. Any other suggestions? Should I call someone to regrade my front yard? I checked my house throughly and no water is getting in. I do have a newer sump pump and everything is fine inside. The water was 2inch from reaching the siding in the front… concerning.
The pad next to the main driveway pictured here is pretty bad. Thinking about possibly cutting into the yard so water can flow out more?
What would you do?
