Jon Bon Jovi was forced to end a concert at Madison Square Garden early after revealing he was struggling with a sinus infection, leaving fans disappointed but promising to reschedule the show.

The Bon Jovi frontman brought the performance to a close after around 90 minutes and 14 songs during the band’s New York residency.

Addressing the audience after performing Livin’ on a Prayer, he apologised, saying he was “hurt” and unable to continue, before asking fans to keep their tickets while a new date is arranged.

A spokesperson later confirmed that the singer had been battling a sinus infection, which affected his performance.

The band said further details about a rescheduled concert would be announced in due course.

The show forms part of Bon Jovi’s Forever Tour, marking the band’s return to the stage after Jon Bon Jovi underwent vocal cord surgery in 2022 and spent several years recovering.

Bon Jovi returned to touring earlier this month with a sold-out residency in New York before heading to the UK later this summer for concerts in Edinburgh and London.
