Time to wrap up the biggest Garden drama of 2026, my corn patch. Big decision was made not to grow it again after the epic battle against the wildlife.

  1. Hang CDs from your fence line, or the scarecrow! The reflect usually deters them and other pests. I use them in my garden and the only ones who care to come up to it are the ground critters no birds!

  2. Yes kaye i think some silver fiol maybe old cds if you have some. Oh what a battle to keep some good food for you๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜ฎ.well thsts very generous of you feeding those crows, helping the cows whom do deserve it.the crows are too cheeky ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜Šxxxx.hmmm!.

  3. Reactive motion detector operated by small solar generator and panel to scare off those little food thieves.

  4. That was a big corn patch!โคWhat is the benefit of eating it raw vs. lightly steamed with butter?๐Ÿ˜‹

  5. You're supposed to leave the stalks in the ground until they turn brown. The nutrients go right back into the soil as they turn brown. And the stalks are absolutely horrible for bovine stomachs. That's what the finishers feed the cows to wreck their intestinal bacteria and make them fat in a cheap way. It's cheaper than fattening the views by antibiotics.

  6. Deer Will eat the silk tops, raccoon and skunks pull the ears and devour the corn off the cob! Pigs will eat the entire ear! Bear will sit in the middle out of view of the edge of the patch and pull off a pile and make a nest of corn husks
