I’m taking you on a relaxing tour through my front garden as it reaches one of its prettiest moments of the season.
We’ll wander through my cottage-style mailbox garden, colorful sun border, and productive potager while taking a look at what’s blooming in late June here in Zone 6B, Kansas. From roses, lilies, salvias, hydrangeas, and dahlias to tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, herbs, and more, there’s something beautiful around every corner.

You should trim the basil it will come back again and it will look fresh again.
The mailbox garden color pallette is perfection. I can see why the little area outside your potage garden is making you so happy, its very sweet with the bird houses. The potage looks gorgeous, I think veggie folige is ao beautiful. The garden as a whole looks so beautiful. I hope the arbs can be saved and replanted after the storm drain project.
Really pretty! Love it! Where do you live in Shawnee? My son lives there and I'd love to drive by next time I'm visiting. He lives on 53rd Place.
Your garden is beautiful!
A very beautiful and unique yard. I’m always impressed with just the sheer number of plants you have. So much variety in color, texture, and species. Well done! 🌺
Your sweet little visitor – you’re probably seen him before and just don’t recognize him in his “gotta get me a girlfriend” fancy suit. 🤓

Absolutely a beautiful Garden! All so all in the right places!
Very beautiful! Did you install that stone path to the potage in the grass yourself? Is it easy to mow over? I've been thinking about doing one of those in my front lawn on a bigger scale.
Thank you for the garden tour.. Enjoyed
Kate,

Thank you for sharing.
Would you ever plant Lily of the Valley or is it too invasive?
Your front garden is amazing! I’m really wanting to add more beds to my front yard and this is pushing me to do so. Thanks for the inspiration.
