Despite us experiencing our third heatwave and another period of drought, I’m amazed at how well so many of my summer perennials are performing. Many of these plants are proving just how resilient they can be once established, filling the borders with beautiful colour while continuing to attract bees, butterflies and other pollinators.
In this garden tour you’ll see what’s flowering now, how the borders have matured over the past month, and which plants are thriving despite the hot, dry weather.

Looks great, wish I was as green fingered as you. Sadly lots of my plants have yellow leaves this year and its never clear if this is because of overwatering or underwater!
