It looks like the berm might have slowed down the water a bit, that's a start & good news. It'll take a while for the berm to settle in a have a greater ability to stop/greatly reduce the run off. Good job on your beautiful garden!
Very challenging gardening on a hill for sure but glad it was not a total wash out. We've gotten more rain this year but are still in a draught overall. Strange weather indeed…
Have you thought about hügelkultur for this area? It should raise it up high enough to avoid the water issue, and is easier on your body from what I understand.
Not a good summer for tomatoes! All of our Cherokee purples split. We got over 3 inches here just last night. I've enjoyed the rain and cloudy days as opposed to the usual heat this time of year, myself. Hopefully you can figure out a solution for the run off there at your garden.
Kaye hello xxim so sorry skme things are such a struggle on your beautiful homestead. Its certainly very very hard wirm.definately a lot of worry at times of the year for you. If you can't plabt on skme of your land Kaye dont be too upset. Let it go into geass and flowers if it possible for someone to miw at the times yoo. need. No the rain seems that it comes and then dosnt stop .or it stops abd we get dessert land. Its definitely hard time when you want to keep everything glowing well.i struggle and my garden s tiny.. i do feel for yoh Kaye. You still have a sweet joyful soubd to your voice even in the hardest times.you are definitely so grateful for ghe blessing. Its very special thijng about you. 😊 im hoping someone csn come up with s 🙏 good helping idea when the rain is bad for it running away. Its definitely a help though. Thsts good kaye 😊😊.
