Gordale Garden & Home Centre in Burton has received the overall runner-up accolade at this year’s Garden Centre Association (GCA) North Awards, finishing as the Second Best Destination Garden Centre in the North.
The recognition came at this year’s Garden Centre Association (GCA) North Awards. Held at RHS Bridgewater, the awards brought together 57 destination garden centres from across the North West, North East, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man.
Jonathan Briers, Garden Centre Manager at Gordale Garden & Home Centre, said, “We’re absolutely delighted to have been named one of the North’s top two destination garden centres. Everyone at Gordale should be incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved.
“To receive recognition across so many different departments, as well as being named Second Best Destination Garden Centre in the North, means a great deal to us. It reflects the hard work, care and commitment shown by every member of Team Gordale, who go above and beyond every day for our customers.
“I’d like to thank every member of our team for everything they do, and of course our customers for their continued support. We never take that support for granted, and we’re proud to share this achievement with them.”
The Garden Centre Association’s North region includes 57 member garden centres, making the competition one of the largest and most respected in the UK garden centre industry.
Based in South Wirral, Gordale Garden & Home Centre is an independent, family-run destination garden centre welcoming visitors from across Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales and the wider North West. The centre offers an extensive range of plants, gardening products, home and outdoor living, gifts, clothing, dining and seasonal events throughout the year.
