Two new homes could be built in a garden in a coastal village.

JF Investments has applied to redevelop the 400sqm plot in Thornham, near Hunstanton, with a pair of semi-detached two-bedroom houses.

A planning statement says the site on Castle Cottages is close to a mix of other properties and lies outside the village’s conservation area.

It adds the scheme represents “a modest and proportionate increase in residential density appropriate to this established village setting” on what is described as a “windfall” site.

Each property would have its own parking, with a total of your spaces created.

There are no listed buildings nearby and the land, which is situated on a hill rising inland from the nearby main A149 is not classed as being at risk from flooding.
