  1. We are on the dry side of the mountains from you. But everything you talked about today was applicable. Middle of July and we are just starting to get some consistent heat even though it is still cool at night. On my way to the garage to get the fertilizer. Thank you.

  2. Good afternoon. I wanted to add information regarding spraying BT. For the best results with BT (Bacillus thuringiensis):Spray in the evening: Apply your BT spray late in the afternoon, right around or just after sunset. This gives the bacteria several hours in the dark to dry and adhere to the plant foliage without UV damage. If you spray during the daylight 80% of the effective bacteria is degraded. You also need to reapply after rainfall and getting the underside of leaves is important. It allows the product safety from uv rays for eggs hatching Spraying in evening vs morning has helped me combat the caterpillars
